France has made Working Holiday visa agreements with the following 14 participating countries:
- Argentina
- Australia
- Brazil
- Canada
- Chile
- Colombia
- Hong Kong
- Japan
- Mexico
- New Zealand
- Russia
- South Korea
- Taiwan
- Uruguay
If you are a Citizen of France and are considering a Working Holiday experience in one of the participating countries above, contact the Embassy of the country in question for more information.
With this visa you can
This visa allows you to:
- Live in France for up to one year
- Visit other European countries within the Schengen Zone
- Work and study in France
Conditions
- You must be aged between 18 and 30 years old (Both inclusive). If you are from Argentina, Australia and Canada the max. age is 35 years old.
- You must have a valid passport of one of the participating countries
- You must have enough fund for your travels (Money enough for a return ticket to your home country)
- You must have a travel insurance
- You must be in good health

How to apply
Australian, Canadian and Colombian nationals may file their visa application with the visa centre of their choice.
Nationals of other countries, in contrast, must file their application with the visa centre empowered in their country of nationality
The immigration authority in France for processing Working Holiday visa's is France Visa Services.

However, you need proof of accommodation which will be hard since i am traveling around.

My partner and I are Australian and are considering a move to France to live and work. I am 33 and she is 29. A few years ago we lived and worked in the UK and loved it. We would like to go on another adventure like this. We now have a 3 year old daughter. Would it be possible to bring our daughter? My partner is a hotel manager and I am a plumber by trade but am currently a plumbing teacher at a trade school. Any info would be great. Cheers James

I’m from New Zealand and can’t find anything in the bilateral agreement between NZ and France. Thanks in advance!
